Stopford takes part in first Countryside COP on the future of the UK Biogas Sector

Last month, Stopford took part in the NFU’s first Countryside COP conference, which focused on the policy interventions and drivers needed for enhancing the circularity of the UK biogas sector.

The presentation, which was delivered by Stopford’s Technology & Innovation Director Dr. Ben Herbert, introduced the promising mobile digestate management solution being developed as part of the H2020 NOMAD project, of which Stopford is a key partner. Digestate is recognised as a material of value and is expected to play a crucial role on the low carbon farming agenda.

The conference was well attended and culminated in a number of policy recommendations, which have recently been published online.
