Stopford Projects Ltd founded by John Rouse, Brian Roebuck and Hugh Brown as engineering design house

Cheshire HQ and Huddersfield office open, focusing on the chemicals industry

Congleton office opens, to support pharmaceuticals industry

Bristol office opens, for further growth in the pharmaceuticals and chemicals industries

Stopford gain BS5750 accreditation

1996

Managing Director Prith Rajendran joins to lead newly formed process engineering  department

2000

Prith Rajendran leads MBO 

2001

Teesside office opens, major life-sciences contract awarded

2005

Company diversifies into renewables, first biofuels contract awarded

Stopford achieve ISO:9001:2000 certification

2007

Office opens at Lancaster University, to focus on research & development

2009

Stopford invest in development of proprietary technology

2013

Investment from the North West Fund

Diversification into Water & Wastewater sector

2015

Began trading as Stopford Energy & Environment

Stopford forms strategic partners with green tech companies
