Stopford’s Environmental Consultant Dr Peter Shanahan gave a presentation at the recent ADMS 5 (air pollution modelling software) User Group Meeting, presenting on the topic of “Air Quality and working with regulators”.
Peter spoke about Stopford’s expertise in carrying out air emissions risk assessments including modelling the impact of changes to existing installations on air quality and detailed dispersion modelling used for planning applications and environmental permitting.
Stopford made several recommendations to the user group, including early discussions with local planning authorities and using fully referenceable data to make the regulator’s job easier.
