Stopford’s Consultancy Director, Deb Pal today delivered a speech ‘Bringing the hydrogen dream into reality’ at the BVAA (British Valve and Actuator Association) Spring Conference.
The conference theme ‘Net Zero and a low carbon future’. The morning session focused on Hydrogen, and how the BVVA & its members can help with the energy transition. The afternoon session saw updates from the North Sea Transition Authority & working with the UKCS (UK Continental Shelf) towards a sustainable future.
Deb spoke about Stopford’s experience with BEIS industrial fuel switching projects with hydrogen. The speech covered process safety and design considerations for the successful use of hydrogen on existing UK industrial facilities.
