Over the last 40 years Stopford has evolved into the company we are today, from our early beginnings as a design house specalising in process engineering, we successfully diversified our service offerings to include process technology innovation, multidisciplinary consultancy and engineering. Throughout, the years there has been a constant thread running through our activities, this being a focus on energy, the environment and engineering sustainable solutions.
Over the last decade, we have developed our own suite of clean, green process technologies and supported our clients and partners with their energy transition plans.
Today, we look to the future with excitement, playing our part in building a sustainable and desirable world to live in.
Our Technology & Innovation group has had a fantastic year, as we continue our journey to develop and commercialise novel, scalable, process technologies to address some of the largest challenges within the low-carbon and circular economy sectors worldwide.
Our Consultancy group, are at the forefront of the energy transition, delivering UK BEIS industrial fuel switching projects with hydrogen, decarbonising industrial processes for multiple industry sectors.
Our Projects group have supported our key partners in the delivery of projects in the Energy and Resource Recovery sectors. Technologies spanning, CHP, pyrolysis, gasification, solar PV, micro grids.
This year, as we mark our 40th anniversary, we celebrate the people at the heart of our business and have refreshed our company values which guide the way we carry out our everyday activities, to achieve our ambition.
We signed the year off with a combined 40th anniversary and Christmas party, hosted within the grounds of our HQ at Mere Hall Farm. Before the dancing started, we took the opportunity to take a group photo:
