CDM
The construction and maintenance of process plants has always been an integral part of Stopford's Engineering and Design Procedures. The main priority is the safety of all personnel. Since the inception of the 'Construction (Design and Management) Regulations', our procedures have embraced the codes of practice set down by the HSE and in particular 'Regulation 13' (Requirements on designer). Stopford are competent to act as a Principal Contractor and as a CDM Co-ordinator.
ATEX/DSEAR
Stopford Projects have specific experience on Area Classification , DSEAR issues and Mechanical Ignition Risk Assessments with a wide range of clients in different sectors, from bulk chemicals, fine chemicals, pharmaceuticals to cement. We can carry out the work required, advise on ways in which to plan your plant and operations to minimise the cost of flammable areas and provide consultancy on static hazards and the inspection of equipment in classified areas as required by the British Standards.
