In the Paper industry we have been providing an outsourced engineering service to Ciba (now BASF) for all make-up and dosing equipment in the UK and also for specific projects in southern Europe, since 2003. This has included storage, make-down and dosing equipment for bentonite (Hydrocol), dry and liquid polyacrylamides (Percol) and ASA size along with dosing equipment for other additives and reagents. We have worked at mills including St Regis/DS Smith Kemsley, Wansbrough, Higher Kings and Hollins, Iggesund, Shotton, Bridgewater, James Cropper, Kappa SSK, Townsend Hook, Guardbridge, IP Inverurie, Davidsons, Stoneywood, Stora Enso Langerbrugge, Holmen Madrid, Portucel PM4, Golbey, Seyfert Descartes and others. Individuals within Stopford have gained experience with Allied Colloids (now BASF), Cytec (now Kemira), Caledonian Paper, JR Crompton and Tullis Russell in previous employment.
