Research and Development
As well as developing novel environmental technologies in-house, the Stopford R&D team are also working closely with clients to assist them in the development and validation of new technologies in the areas of waste treatment, commodity recovery and energy generation. Stopford is able to offer clients a “concept to commissioning” service for the development of novel technologies encompassing technology trials, design and build of pilot plant and process scale-up.

The complexity of environmental legislation places enormous responsibility on private and public sector organisations to effectively manage their environmental impacts. As such Stopford works closely with its clients to ensure that they meet all required environmental standards throughout project development. To date our services have included:

As an Associate Company of Lancaster Environment Centre, Lancaster University, Stopford’s environmental chemists have access to laboratories and analytical equipment, enabling us to offer our clients a comprehensive chemicals analysis and consultancy service for all environmental samples, including air, soil and water.
