Previous Winners
2009 – Josef Tapper, Statix Industries Ltd.
“Winning this competition will give us a substantial boost in the engineering experience that we’re currently lacking” said Josef Tapper after winning the prize.
The £10,000 consultancy support delivered to Statix by Stopford encompassed an independent review of the Statix technology, providing process engineering support to the project and assisting in the development of a proof of concept test plant.
2010 - Jon Topping, MFN Technologies Ltd
MFN Technologies had a very strong technical understanding of their product and had developed small scale prototypes that they had rigorously tested. The next step for MFN technologies was to secure investment to develop their product further. To assist MFN technologies, Stopford developed a comprehensive business plan to strengthen their existing business case.
“This excellent work fed directly into our business case for the technology, allowing me to seek and gain investment while having a very professional business plan” said John Topping seven months after winning Innovate’10
