Materials Management Plan

A Materials Management Plan has been developed for the reuse of excavated material from an oil storage refurbishment project. The site is being extensively redeveloped with the installation of new tanks and improved bunding. A MMP has been developed in accordance with CL:AIREs  “The Definition of Waste: Development Industry Code of Practice”, which will enable the reuse of material which would otherwise be classified as a waste. Compliance testing must be carried out to demonstrate that reuse of the material does not present significant risks to the environment or future site users.
