Contaminated Land and Flood Risk Assessment

Stopford undertook a contaminated land and flood risk assessment for a major oil storage and distribution facility. Both studies were commissioned as part of planning conditions regarding the redevelopment of the site. The outcome of the project included;

• Detailed conceptualisation of site and surrounding conditions.
• Technical assessment of ground conditions and flood risk.
• Review and independent evaluation of human health and ecological risks associated with proposed redevelopment.
• Outline mitigation measures for detailed design and construction phase activities.
• Reported findings in the context of intended planning decision.
