Plasma Gasification

Stopford is currently the Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Commissioning and Management (EPCCM) contractor for a 40 MW plasma gasification waste to energy plant in central Asia. The plant will use processed municipal waste as a feed for the generation of electricity. The plant will require 1000 tonnes of municipal waste per day, which will enter the gasifier as a processed refuse derived fuel (RDF). Stopford is also providing detailed engineering design for the gasifier.
