Isotope Recovery Service

The isotope recovery technology is a novel method for treating low level nuclear metals waste. Stopford Projects Ltd is worked with IRS to develop a proposal to the North West Development Agency (NWDA) under the Grants for R&D programme to build a bench top test rig with a view to validating the technology for use in the nuclear industry. Stopford’s expert consultants investigated the logistical, economic, technological and environmental aspects of the project, culminating in the development of a robust technical, marketing and business model for the validation and commercialisation of the described technology.
