Pharmaceutical Validation

Stopford Projects carried out Pharmaceutical Validation for machinery and processes for the Fisherman’s Friend lozenge & tablet manufacturing plant in Fleetwood, Lancashire. This included the preparation execution of validation protocols to FDA & MCA requirements for machinery including tablet pressing machines, thermal transfer printers, metal detectors, mixers, packing lines for the Main Manufacturing and two sugar free factories on the site. The validation team worked on site with Fisherman’s Friend staff, the Design Group Partnership and pharmaceutical machinery manufacturers for the validation of existing and new equipment. Design Qualification DQ, Gap Analysis GA, Installation Qualification IQ and Operational Qualification OQ protocols were prepared to gain MCA (now MHRA) manufacturing License approval.
