Distillation Plant

The project involved the installation of a new marine oil distillation plant with associated storage and services facilities. The project comprised of: General layout, project management of the installation of the distillation plant provided by an American supplier and connection to services, power supplies and control systems.

Design, specification, project management and supervision were carried out for the installation of services equipment, process pipework, intermediate and final product storage tanks, ancillary equipment, power supplies and control systems external to the distillation plant package.

The project included the design and specification for connections between the plant and its associated services equipment and existing services, pipework and storage / feed tanks. Stopford also carried out to design, Project Management and Construction Management of building works for a new services extension. The project also included work to be undertaken for validation requirements to an API standard, including Design Qualification, Functional Design Specification, Installation Qualification and Operational Qualification documents.
