Post Title: Graduate Civil & Structural Engineer       

DEPARTMENT: Civil & Structural     

PURPOSE OF THE JOB

To provide comprehensive design and technical support to the Civil & Structural Team. The post holder requires excellent organisational skills, must be flexible and able to consistently demonstrate a high professional approach.

Skills, knowledge, experience etc
E Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Outlook and Excel A
E Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with all levels of staff and external clients/contacts A/I
E Strong mathematical skills A/I
E Excellent spatial awareness and ability to think in three dimensions A/I
E Drawing / CAD drafting ability A/I
E Ability to communicate complex concepts well, diagrammatically, in speech and writing A/I
E Problem-solving to anticipate identify and resolve problems at any stage. A/I
E Experience in the use of structural analysis and design software - 3D modeling skills would be an distinct advantage A/I
D Experience working in or with a multi-disciplinary design consultancy A/I
D Ideally, experience working in UK structural and/or civil engineering and involvement in the full project lifecycle A/I
  Qualifications  
E B.Sc or B.Eng or equivalent in Structural or Civil Engineering A
